With Krugersdorp High School boasting 17 hectares of pristine property, there is little wonder that the school has a wide variety of sporting opportunities for the learners to choose from. The aim of the school is to encourage learners to participate and further develop their skills in a sporting code. The school is of the firm belief that learning does not only take place in the classroom but also when a learner participates in extra-curricular activities. This is where they develop life skills.
An individual is encouraged to participate in a summer and winter sport. With this in mind, many of the sporting codes run throughout the year. The senior teams are encouraged to go for additional sports conditioning in the gym under the supervision of the school’s sports conditioner, Mr Botha. Programmes are setup for each team to ensure safe physical development for all the teams.
